Workshops

With the plastics collected from the beaches, artistic and educational workshops were created, aimed at raising awareness of the existence of this problem. Taking the book as starting point, the artists take the collected plastics to schools, educational centers and other locations where the workshops take place, confronting the children with the reality of pollution caused by plastics.

They invite them to touch and manipulate these materials, creating characters with plastic rubbish around different themes – construction of real animals, fantastic creatures, illustration of human feelings and situations...

In the end they photograph them as keepsakes and, when possible, an exhibition of the artworks is organized ​​. There is an intent of creating an online virtual gallery with works produced in the various workshops.
