About The Book

Why make sculptures and humanize them by giving them feelings? Because our trash is our reflection, our portrait. Looking at what washes ashore in our beaches is enough to know what humans like to eat, what they use to deodorize, what sports they love to play, which toys to have fun with their kids, their dog, etc…

These plastics carry a bit of our soul. Floating adrift on the oceans and carrying with them our passions, our fears, our desires. Who better than "The Plastics" to tell us about our feelings and moods?

The book aims to culminate the whole process of discovery, creation and sharing that artists have been trekking for over 10 years, allowing the audiences a closer and more intimate approach to their work and their message. An exploration vehicle, starting point for self-reflection, consciousness-raising and citizenship.
